Company History from Microfilm to Digital Printing

We're proud of the strong roots we've built in our community. We pride ourselves on being a complete source for all of your business communications needs and have always been on the leading edge of technology. We understand that an investment in technology can actually save money by improving efficiencies.

When we formed our company in Columbus, Ohio in 1985, we were a service bureau devoted to the microfilm industry. We provided computer output microfiche and source document microfilming services to other businesses. In keeping with the advancements in technology we now take the same data from magnetic tape that we put on microfiche and transfer it to computer discs. Our source document department is kept busy with clients that realize that document microfilming is still a very efficient method of archiving information. If the film is stored properly the data can always be retrieved with a light source and magnification. If computer systems become compromised these clients will still have their data stored on microfilm. This part of our business continues to serve us very well.

In 1993 we expanded to Pickerington, Ohio with early thoughts of starting a secretarial service. It was here that we learned about the “new” field of color copying. In looking for a copier to copy the reports that the secretarial service would generate a copier salesman asked, “Have you seen a color copier?” Our response, “What color?” With that we learned that the copier made copies in color. That was exciting to us and we knew we could sell color copies. We realized that this could be just as challenging as the field of computer output microfiche.

Over the last 12 years we have evolved into a full service printer. We are able to take your job and run it through our shop from start to finish. From your rough draft or computer disk or other electronic media, we transform your information to your desired product in our facility. It is our goal to be full service to our customers. That way, we can control the quality throughout the entire process.

In 2003 we brought both the microfilming and digital printing business together under one roof on the east side of Columbus so we would be more efficient and would have more staff readily available to meet our customers’ needs. We still provide a shop in Pickerington to continue to serve the loyal customers we have there.
